 — Dick Boyer, Outside Engine Builder Sales | Dick Boyer brings over 25 years of hands-on race engine building experience and high-level performance aftermarket leadership to P1 Manufacturing. Having managed manufacturing operations and outside sales teams for nearly two decades, Dick understands the precise demands and challenges engine builders face nationwide. In his role, Dick connects directly with engine builders across the country through telephone and face-to-face consultation - educating customers on P1’s superior heat treating, tight-tolerance machining, and expanding pushrod program. His deep technical background allows him to work through complex application details, giving builders total confidence in P1 fasteners. Drawn to P1 by its commitment to producing the highest quality parts and hands-on leadership, Dick represents the seasoned industry leadership helping expand P1’s growing national customer base. |
BEHIND THE SCIENCE & PASSION
Q: What does your role at P1 Manufacturing involve day-to-day?
I meet face-to-face and over the phone with engine builders around the country - promoting sales, informing them of our manufacturing processes, and onboarding new accounts.
Q: What technical areas do you emphasize when speaking with engine builders?
Currently, many customers are still learning about our products. I push our heat treat process and quality control first, as these key areas separate P1 from our competition.
Q: What makes P1 Manufacturing stand out from other companies?
Our size and technical knowledge allow us to move quickly when opportunities arise. Plus, our owner works directly in the shop with new products, and Steve has assembled one of the most qualified and dedicated teams I've ever worked with.
Q: Where do you see P1 Manufacturing in 5 years?
I believe we will be the leader in high-end performance fasteners and pushrods.
