 — Matt Sampietro, Inside Sales & Technical Support | Matt Sampietro grew up immersed in motorsports - racing alongside his grandfather and working as a crew member for Top Fuel, Pro Mod, and grassroots race teams. Having started his professional career as a machine operator and serving for four years as P1's CNC Centerless Grinding Lead, Matt seamlessly combines practical shop-floor knowledge with real-world track experience. In his current role in Inside Sales and Technical Support, Matt acts as a trusted technical bridge for engine builders, distributors, and racers. Because he races almost every weekend himself, he understands the exact high-stress demands placed on critical engine fasteners. Matt represents the passionate, expert workforce driving P1 forward, combining deep technical capability with an authentic passion for the racing community. |
BEHIND THE SCIENCE & PASSION
Q: How does your background in manufacturing and racing help you support customers?
Having worked in the shop full-time running grinding machines, I understand our internal manufacturing process inside out. Combined with my track experience, I can easily capture customer data, answer technical questions, and make sure they get the exact parts they need.
Q: What gives you the most pride in your work at P1?
Seeing our parts actually out in the field winning. When I worked in the shop, I took pride knowing I made those parts with my hands. Now in technical sales, I take that same pride knowing I helped specify and supply the exact setup for their build.
Q: What makes P1 Manufacturing's culture unique?
The people - we're like family here. We also have a lot of talented young staff. The future is extremely bright, and P1 is bringing fresh energy to an industry that truly needs it.
Q: Where do you hope to see P1 in 5 years?
Having grown so fast over my 5 years here, as we continue to mature, I expect P1 to be a household name across the entire performance automotive and aerospace industries.
